The employer or nominated person and RTO will negotiate tasks strongly related the applicant’s current duties conducted in the workplace and formulate an agenda for verification. The information and skills requiring verification will be measured against the present industry standards by the RTO’s qualified and experienced trainers and assessors. The sort of equipment to be properly used and the venue for the competency verification may also be determined.
VOC process
The applicant will be informed of the verification process, the conditions under that the tasks will be conducted, the mandatory outcome and the consequence of the verification process. Any gap training requirements and cost (if required) will be calculated by the RTO and approved by the employer prior to commencement of gap training. Documentation of VOC A report will be forwarded to the employer or nominated person detailing the consequence of the verification, the power of the worker and the amount of their performance.
